Role summary
Join Nottinghamshire's Community Nursing teams as a Band 5 Staff Nurse, providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes and clinic settings. You will become an expert clinician in wound care, palliative care, continence care, and managing long-term conditions. The role involves holistic assessment, intervention, and evaluation to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and maximise patient independence. A robust induction and competency-based development package will be provided.
Essential criteria
- Professional Qualification (Registered General Nurse) to degree level or equivalent.
- Maintains current registration with the NMC
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate continued professional development to maintain professional registration
- Demonstrates satisfactory clinical expertise for the banding.
- Specialist and area specific experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good written/oral communication skills
- Diplomatic, caring & sympathetic
- Ability to be flexible and handle conflict issues
- Good skills in assessment intervention and evaluation of patients nursing care.
- IT skills

- A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

- Has the physical ability to perform the full range of nursing duties
