Key responsibilities

Essential criteria

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with HCPC

  • Rotation into the speciality
  • Experience of participating in and delivery in-service training programmes

  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • The ability to move between sites within the Health Board or patients residences as demanded by the job role

  • Evidence of having worked in the UK as a HCPC registered Physio
  • Evidence of working unsupervised
  • Evidence of participating in or contributing to service development projects
  • Awareness of relevant national and local clinical guidelines

The team is an integrated one, made up of Therapists, Support Staff and Nursing staff. It is a well-established, friendly, innovative team providing community based services across the Newport Borough.

The CRT provides a hospital at home service and the Physiotherapy role is a vital one in working with individuals to ensure a seamless service in their journey. The successful post holder will be supported by the other Band 6's and Band 7 Physiotherapist within the team.
