Role summary
This role is for an Appointment Booking Co-ordinator within the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Queen Victoria Hospital. The post holder will provide high-quality administrative and appointment booking services, coordinating patient pathways from referral to ensure timely appointments and diagnostic investigations. Working closely with clinical and administrative colleagues, the role supports the smooth running of the CDC and may involve cross-cover for reception services. The successful candidate will be based onsite, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Appointment Booking Co-ordinator to join our Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Queen Victoria Hospital.
The post holder will provide a high quality administrative and appointment booking service, supporting the smooth co-ordination of patient pathways from referral. Working closely with clinical and administrative colleagues, the role is key to ensuring patients receive timely appointments and diagnostic investigations in line with the Trust's standards and targets.
This role will be based onsite and is an integral part of building and developing the CDC team. As such, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite to support the service needs and operational demands of the role, whilst contributing to the continued development and success of the Community Diagnostic Centre. The post holder will provide cross-cover for reception services as required, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients and visitors and supporting the day-to-day running of the department.
The working hours for this role are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
