These posts offer an opportunity to work across closely connected areas of CAMHS, providing specialist assessment, intervention and care to children and young people with a range of moderate, severe, acute and complex mental health needs.
About CAMHS Tier 4
iCAMHS provides urgent, crisis and intensive mental health support to children and young people aged 0–18 who present with acute or complex mental health difficulties. The service undertakes same-day emergency assessments, urgent follow-up and intensive community-based interventions, often as an alternative to hospital admission. The team also delivers highly specialist interventions and works closely with families and partner agencies.
