Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support reception staff across the Neuroscience service.
- Provide comprehensive reception and administrative support across Neuroscience Wards and the TIA Clinic.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case notes, discharge documentation, and clinical coding processes.
- Coordinate clinic appointments, patient documentation, and records for the TIA Clinic.
- Handle telephone enquiries and act as a key point of contact for patients, relatives, visitors, and staff.
- Organise reception rotas, annual leave, and staffing cover.
Essential criteria
- Good general standard of literacy and numeracy
- Keyboard/word processing skills
- Significant previous experience of clerical work including data input.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective role model, demonstrating NNUH's PRIDE values of People focussed, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence
- Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Desirable criteria
