Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Provide high quality occupational therapy assessments, interventions, formulation, and consultation to people with complex needs and their carers/supporters/family members.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team and others as required.
- Communicate effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, people who access services, and stakeholders.
- Strengthen and actively contribute to the overall leadership of the service.
- Support team managers and clinical leads in the development and delivery of effective services.
Essential criteria
- Occupational Therapy professional qualification
- A driving license suitable for driving in the UK and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience of leading clinical practice service development or project work
- Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant occupational therapy assessment and treatment models
- Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills
Desirable criteria
- Additional academic clinical qualification relevant to area of work
- Leadership training or relevant leadership experience
- Clinical supervision training
