Role summary
This role involves safeguarding staff, patients, and healthcare environments by implementing physical security strategies and maintaining high security standards. Key responsibilities include conducting security audits, managing risk assessments, and supporting the implementation of new regulations like Martyn's Law. The officer will also develop and facilitate security training programs and collaborate with external partners like Kent Police. Essential criteria
- Good general education to GCE/GCSE level to include English Language and Mathematics
- Educated to Diploma or equivalent experience.

- SIA accreditation
- Safeguarding training (Adults and Children)
- Teaching/Training skills qualification
- Audit skills qualification
- Extensive experience of safety and security or security risk management in a large, complex and diverse organisation
- Extensive experience of undertaking audits and inspections.
- Experience of developing, implementing and facilitating learning programmes.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office and use of the Intranet and email
- Ability to produce high quality, succinct reports.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Can relate to a wide range of staff and colleagues within a large, complex and diverse organisation.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data using critical faculties to closely check the outputs and verify accuracy.
- Can meet challenging and conflicting deadlines.
