Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Rapid Response & Intermediate Care (RRIC) Teams at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Key responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and implement clinical protocols, operational procedures, and service guidelines.
  • Oversee and monitor the quality of delegated activities, providing guidance and feedback to colleagues.
  • Act as an advocate for patients and carers, ensuring their views and needs are represented.
  • Contribute to workforce development through induction programmes, mentorship, and clinical supervision.
  • Participate in service development initiatives, supporting new ways of working and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies relating to confidentiality, information governance, and health and safety.

Essential criteria

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant healthcare profession.
  • Minimum two years' post-registration NHS community or inpatient experience.
  • Experience in rehabilitation, intermediate care, or long-term condition management.
  • Full UK driving licence, own vehicle, and evidence of ongoing CPD. Evidence of ongoing CPD.
