Role summary
This role involves providing essential secretarial support within the Pathology Department, primarily based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Key tasks include fast and accurate audio typing of patient biopsy and autopsy reports, managing letters using a digital dictation system, and collating slides and reports for Consultant MDT meetings. The successful candidate will contribute to patient diagnosis, including cancer diagnosis, for various scheduled care specialties.
