Role summary
The HIV Service is seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to people living with HIV across outpatient, community and outreach settings. The role involves clinical assessments, treatment support, health promotion, ongoing monitoring, vaccination, phlebotomy, and administration of injectable HIV therapies. The post holder will also support home visits and community clinics, working with vulnerable populations to improve access to care. This is an opportunity to develop specialist skills in HIV, Sexual Health and Community Nursing with full training and support provided.

- Experience delivering direct patient care in an acute, community, or outpatient setting

Job summary
The HIV Service is seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to people living with HIV across outpatient, community and outreach settings.
Working alongside Specialist Nurses, Medical Staff, Sexual Health colleagues and external partners, you will deliver clinical assessments, treatment support, health promotion and ongoing monitoring, helping patients to manage their condition and achieve the best possible health outcomes. The role includes vaccination and immunisation programmes, phlebotomy, blood monitoring clinics, administration of long-acting injectable HIV therapies, and responding to urgent clinical queries.
The post holder will also support home visits, community clinics and outreach activities, working with vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations to improve access to care and reduce health inequalities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist skills in HIV, Sexual Health and Community Nursing.
