Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join the operating theatre complex at Cumberland Infirmary. The role involves supporting registered practitioners in the holistic care of patients undergoing surgery and contributing to the perioperative team as a circulating member of the scrub team. You will ensure patient safety during the operative period by participating in sterile equipment management, counts, and the five steps to safer surgery. The theatre complex covers a variety of specialties including Trauma & Orthopaedics, Vascular, Colorectal, and Gynaecology.
Essential criteria

- Basic IT skills to use electronic patient records and other trust systems
