Role summary

This role supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring compliance and governance within the Hospice. You will manage quality and compliance systems, support CQC regulations, and monitor quality assurance information. The position involves investigating incidents, identifying trends, and making recommendations for practice improvement. It also includes interpreting legislative changes and supporting senior leaders with CQC inspections and risk management.

Essential criteria

  • Typing/word processing or equivalent
  • GCSE grade A-C English or equivalent
  • RSA level III or equivalent

Desirable criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an office and healthcare environment or relevant experience
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage time and prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to make decisions and implement changes.
  • Excellent IT skills across a broad range of platforms
  • An ability to provide, receive convey and present information in a clear way
  • Able to work on a number of projects simultaneously
  • Strong teamwork ethic
  • Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • In-depth experience of Microsoft packages: especially Word and Excel
  • Spreadsheets and databases
  • Working to demanding and changing deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Job summary
