Key responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high standards of patient-centred care, ensuring safety, dignity, and a positive experience.
- Plan and allocate staff across clinic areas to maintain safe staffing levels and an appropriate skill mix.
- Provide leadership and oversight when senior staff are unavailable, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during clinics, including delays, equipment problems, and patient queries.
- Competently assist with minor procedures, perform male and female catheterisation, and carry out venepuncture.
- Provide skilled wound care, including assessment and management of complex dressings in Vascular Clinics.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse
- Educated to GCSE level Maths and English
- Primary or secondary care experience
