Role summary

Willingness to work efficiently with the other members of the practice team. Ability to project calmness Positive attitude towards change. Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or any other customer service qualification GCSE grade A to C in ICT
- Experience of working in primary care, and more specifically, in general practice.

Job summary
The role of a medical receptionist is often referred to as a "care navigator" and that is exactly what we need now.
Experience in this role would be useful but not vital since we would provide the training you need to be able to deliver a great service to our patients.

If you enjoy helping people and listening to them with the intention of trying to figure out how you can help them to access the services they need, then this role is for you. This means that you are not only supporting our patients, but our large clinical team too.
You will need to feel comfortable with technology, and also with change since the NHS is required to constantly change to meet the emerging needs of our population.
