Role summary

This role is for an experienced and motivated Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Community Learning Disability Service in Lowestoft. You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals with complex mental and physical health needs to regain independence and improve communication. The position involves shaping and developing specialist SLT provision and making a genuine difference to service users' lives.

Essential criteria

  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
  • Post graduate dysphagia qualification

  • Makaton or sign language qualification

  • Experience of working with people with a learning disability
  • Experience of working in a multi disciplinary setting
