Role summary
This role is for a Hub Duty Manager within the Clinical Coordination Centre (CCC) at TeamIOWNHS. The manager will be responsible for the operational management of the CCC during their shift, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of 111 and 999 calls and dispatching ambulances. They will lead and support control centre staff to meet national performance standards and local objectives, while also ensuring the immediate welfare of staff. The role involves managing resources, staffing, and performance to ensure timely emergency response and effective call handling.
Essential criteria
- Level 5 or above Management Qualification
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to produce excellent quality verbal and written reports
- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate, develop and manage others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff on all levels including other managers and external agencies on service-related matters.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working in a team liaising with multiple stakeholders
- 2 Years experience of CAD
- Level 5 or above Management Qualification
