Role summary
King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Peritoneal Dialysis Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role involves supporting patients receiving Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in their homes and community settings. You will provide expert clinical care, education, and support to patients and carers, helping them maintain independence. The position requires a full UK/EU driving license and a passion for delivering outstanding renal care.
Essential criteria
- 1st level Registered General Nurse with active UK NMC Registration
- Further professional studies relevant to the clinical area (E.g., (ENB 136)
- Mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification (E.g., ENB 998)
- Full UK/EU Drivers License
- The post holder will use a Trust pool vehicle, due to this you will need to meet the requirements of the Trust insurance policy and have no more than 9 points on the licence.

- Knowledge and Experience
- Able to contribute to the development of students, nurses and oneself
- Demonstrable clinical expertise, relevant to the area.
- Skills and Competencies

- Team building and working skills - able to lead a team to achieve results
- Computer literacy
- Experience of data collection for audit purposes
