Role summary
This is an internal opportunity for a motivated Clinical Support Worker to join the team at Keswick Community Hospital. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs in a community setting, working closely with health and social care professionals. Key responsibilities include undertaking delegated patient nursing and care duties, clinical observations, and supporting patients with daily living activities. The position requires working largely alone and unsupervised to assess patients, plan and implement care, and provide advice and education. Flexible working, including 12-hour shifts (days and nights), is required.
Essential criteria
- Level 3 vocational qualification or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3; -Theoretical knowledge -Experience of a range of care and related procedures -clinical observations knowledge of data protection legislation and health and safety at work legislation
- National Care Certificate or commitment to complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment
- Numeracy and Literacy Level 2

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker Higher Level - Community - Band 3to work within Keswick Community Hospital.
ICCs aim to address the challenges of an aging population and increasing demand on health and care services by providing more out of hospital care and empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing. This will require new ways of working to focus on preventing ill health and ensure services are sustainable for the future. These new ways of working will follow the same approach across all eight ICCs with flexibility to tailor services to the needs of the local people.
This role requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to support the provision of high quality care, to support patients with complex needs within the community setting.
