Role summary

This role is for a motivated Therapy Assistant to join the Acute Medicine for Elderly Therapy team at North Middlesex Hospital. You will assist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in patient assessment, acute rehabilitation, and discharge planning, providing directed therapy input. The position requires an organised individual with previous relevant clinical experience and excellent communication skills, capable of working flexibly under pressure within an acute hospital setting. You will also participate in a seven-day rota.

Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Therapy Assistant to join our Acute Medicine for Elderly Therapy team (consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants) This team is part of Acute Therapies Service which is based at North Middlesex Hospital site.

You will assist in the assessment, acute rehabilitation and discharge planning of in-patients under the care of the team and provide therapy input as directed.

You must be an organised and motivated individual who can work flexibly as part of a team and have previous experience of working within a relevant clinical setting.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be reliable and can work under pressure within an acute hospital setting.

You will be required to participate in seven day Rota .
