We are seeking a driven, adaptable and progressive pharmacist to take on the role of Senior Pharmacist, Medicines Effectiveness in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This is a rare and exciting opportunity within our dynamic Medicines Support Service (MSS) and is available as a permanent 8a position (0.8 WTE).

The primary purpose of this role is to lead collaborative work to support safe, effective and efficient use of medicines within NHSGGC, aligned to the objectives of the Deputy Director of Pharmacy for Acute Services, Heads of Finance, Acute Services Prescribing Management Group and Area Drug and Therapeutics Committee. This involves working with senior pharmacists, medical & nursing staff and other senior colleagues within the multidisciplinary team as well as Finance to maximise the efficiency and effect
