Key responsibilities

Essential criteria
- Honours Degree in Psychology - Single or Joint honours (with substantial relevant experience in research or clinical activities if the award received is 2:2 or less).
- Completion of accredited Clinical Associate in Psychology apprenticeship MSc.
- Evidence of training/CPD to develop knowledge and theory relevant to work in the specialism.
- Eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society via qualification recognition or by alternative route.
- Experience of working in a Health sector voluntary sector or undertaking local engagement work.
- Experience of working with client groups with serious mental health problems.
Desirable criteria
- Some experience of using psychological test equipment for use in formal testing situations
- Experience of working in a multi-professional team

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity to join our West Older Adult Community Mental Health Team - based at Park House, Cannock. The post is full time Monday to Friday.
The post holder will be joining 12 other psychological professionals within the team, including qualified psychologists, CAPs, a Trainee CBT therapist and Assistant Psychologists. There is regular clinical supervision, therapy specific supervision including CFT, EMDR. and a commitment to training. The post holder would also have the opportunity to be involved in research, service evaluation and delivery.
