Role summary
This role is for a Band 6 Physiotherapist within Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) at Larkhill Medical Centre. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, specialising in musculoskeletal, sports, and training injuries for entitled personnel. It involves assessing patients, formulating individualised treatment plans, and managing a clinical caseload. The position is full-time, with consideration for flexible or part-time working.
Key responsibilities
- Perform highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure informed consent and maximise rehabilitation potential.
- Manage and prioritise own clinical caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Formulate, develop, and deliver specialised individualised treatment programmes based on evidence-based practice.
Essential criteria
- Have you been dismissed for gross misconduct relating to bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation from any role in the past five years, or resigned or otherwise left a role but would have been dismissed for such gross misconduct because of an adverse decision, had you continued in that employment?

- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

- Must have relevant experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions. Completed the relevant courses and experience that would be equivalent to graduate diploma level of study. Post-graduate clinical experience.
- A degree/diploma in Physiotherapy.
