Role summary
This is an exciting new fixed-term role for an Associate Operational Lead within the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Teams in Tamworth, Lichfield and Seisdon. You will support the Operational Lead and wider team in the operational delivery of services, ensuring effective, efficient, and high-quality care for service users. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing staff deployment, and coordinating day-to-day activities. You will also be responsible for managing recruitment, attendance, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies.
Essential criteria
- Post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience in relevant clinical, professional or managerial role.
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate qualification in management and/or leadership.
- Leadership or other organisational development training
- Experience in operational and/or project management role in the NHS.
- In-depth knowledge of local commissioning and provider context including health, social care and education.
- Skliis and knowledge
- Ability to manage teams
- Excellent communication skills

Job summary
We are delighted to offer an opportunity to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Teams in Tamworth, Lichfield and Seisdon area as an Associate Operational Lead.
This is an exciting new role within the MSK service and provides a unique opportunity to create, shape and develop the role to provide a positive impact within the teams.
You will work alongside the Operational Lead and wider team to support and oversee operational delivery of services at team level in order to address issues impacting on service delivery with overall support and strategic direction from the General Manager / Operational Manager and Operational Lead.
Leading by example and holding our Trust values at the heart of our service delivery, you will hold operational responsibility for delegated duties from the MSK Operational Lead, in the delivery of effective, efficient and high-quality services for service users.
You will work in conjunction with the Head of Operations, General Manager, Operational Manager, Operational Lead and Professional Leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services, in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust policies.
