Role summary
This role involves providing highly specialised Occupational Therapy interventions within the Regional Environmental Control Service. It requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and experience in neurological Occupational Therapy assessments.
Essential criteria
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Regional Environmental Control Service team at Mayflower Community Hospital. This permanent, part-time role offers 22.5 hours per week and falls under Band 7, with a salary range of £49,397£56,515 (pro-rated for part-time hours)
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to provide highly specialised Occupational Therapy interventions to a diverse caseload in the community. You will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with severe and complex disabilities, as well as those with terminal illnesses, through the assessment, prescription, and provision of Environmental Control Systems. Your expertise will contribute to improving quality of life and promoting independence.
Deliver highly specialised neurological Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual client needs, including handling skills, cognitive/perceptual evaluations, and patient-specific positioning.
