Role summary
This role is for an Administrator within the Norfolk & Waveney Children & Young People's Health Services, specifically supporting the 5-19 Healthy Child Service team. Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including diary management, arranging meetings, and preparing materials.
- Administer meetings, preparing agendas, papers, and taking actions/minutes.
- Assist with HR administration, maintaining leave records and monitoring mandatory training compliance.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, managing appointment booking, and supporting members of the leadership team.
- Support duty workers by sending letters, updating S1 records, and actioning tasks.
- Administer S1 units across the county, including scanning documents, monitoring tasks, and setting up rotas.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C and above or equivalent qualification
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effectively priorities and co-ordinates own work and the work of others
- Wide knowledge of office procedures
- Ability to use Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management skills
- Understands the principle of confidentiality
- Experience within an administrative role

Job summary
Norfolk & Waveney Children & Young People's Health Services are seeking an Administrator to join our 0-19 Healthy Child Service team of Administrators in Norfolk, primarily supporting the 5-19 team. The 5-19 team are countywide and a base will be decided once successful, taking into consideration travel.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person with excellent attention to detail, time management and IT skills who is looking for a challenging and exciting role in a fast paced friendly environment.
The successful applicant will be providing comprehensive administrative support to our large team of practitioners, working flexibly as part of the team and also be comfortable using their own initiative.
You will be able to demonstrate empathy and show respect for others' feelings, including in stressful situations. Training in working in the field of health will be offered.
