Role summary
Join Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Sonographer, performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations including General Abdominal, Gynaecological, Small Parts, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Neonatal Hip, and Inpatient scans. You will work across state-of-the-art facilities, including a new Community Diagnostic Centre, and contribute to training student Sonographers. Essential criteria
- Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU), a Post Graduate Diploma (PgD) in Diagnostic Ultrasound from an CASE accredited course in the United Kingdom or equivalent from a associated country e.g. AIU diploma
Desirable criteria
- Additional post graduate qualification e.g. MSc
- Demonstrate extensive clinical knowledge of ultrasound scanning techniques and appropriate technology in multiple areas
- Demonstrate experience in an acute clinical setting such as the NHS or equivalent
- Previous experience in research projects/publications
- Ability to plan and organise a number of complex activities as part of an MDT.
- Experience of audit.
