  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Experience of undertaking complex administrative tasks, progress chasing and working to tight deadlines
  • Significant experience of working within a statutory organisation
  • Significant experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Experience of line management, delegation, supervision
  • Significant Experience of Managing and leading projects
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Packages, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and use of computers and keyboards for typing of reports, email and auditing work and contributing to business plans and presentations.

Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience of working within the NHS/local authority
  • Previous use of staff rostering systems
  • Previous use of an electronic patient records (e.g. SystmOne)

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury , Newent and Staunton Integrated Community Team (ICT). The successful candidate will provide business and project support to the management team and wider service. This will involve taking responsibility for navigating multiple systems to assist in developing business intelligence, which will support service improvements and the achievement of Governance requirements; in line with local strategies and government initiatives. These initiatives will require a high level of planning, negotiating, analytical and communication skills.

**** The successful candidate will be supported by the Community Manager at all times to implement projects. The level of autonomy within this role will be agreed based on the nature and scope of the specific project. This role within the ICTs, will support ongoing projects and contribute to continued development of the service within a changing health economy. As such the role may be subject to some change during the development phase.
