An exciting opportunity has arisen within Forth Valley Royal Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to join the respiratory specialist nursing team. The Respiratory Nursing Team provides a specialist service to adult respiratory patients with a range of respiratory conditions including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, (COPD) interstitial lung disease, (ILD) bronchiectasis and asthma.

Whilst patients are predominantly seen as an in-patient we are excited to be expanding our service to include the ability to see patients at home, where clinically indicated, providing hospital-level care for respiratory conditions in the patient's own home.

Respiratory Hospital at Home is designed to facilitate early supported discharge of patients from acute medical beds and prevent hospital admissions of patients with respiratory illnesses in the community, so creating a virtual ward.
