Role summary

This role involves providing senior clinical and operational support for patient flow and site management during twilight and night shifts, including weekends. The post holder will act as the most senior clinical operational manager out of hours, leading staff and ensuring safe, effective services across the Trust. Key responsibilities include coordinating the hospital site, managing patient flow, and responding to clinical and operational issues to maintain business continuity and quality standards. This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, with secondment considered, supporting the organisation during periods of increased demand.

  • Minimum 2 years Band 6 experience in acute hospital setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of patient flow management
