Key responsibilities

- Contributing to technical strategy and roadmap planning, including evaluation of emerging technologies
- Leading the technical design, development and implementation of complex data, integration and BI solutions
- Mentoring and developing other technical staff within the team
Essential criteria
- Strong technical skills across modern data platforms, with knowledge of cloud and data architecture principles
- Experience working with, or the ability to quickly build expertise in, technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Denodo, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects or similar
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise data and analytics solutions in complex environments
- The ability to lead technical design, manage risk and deliver high-quality solutions under pressure
- Experience working in Agile or digital delivery environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a range of audiences
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands
- A collaborative, team-focused approach, with experience supporting and developing others
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
