The Barts BioResource is seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 5 Nurse to join their core team. - Patient facing clinical experience.
- Experience explaining clinical information clearly.
- Experience with clinical data collection.
- Knowledge of and preferably experience in, the conducting of clinical trials
- Training or coaching others
- Experience of clinical trials and research approvals process
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
- Awareness of the Health Research Authority.
- Awareness of clinical networks, NIHR or similar research programmes
- Human Tissue Act
- Excellent communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Strong record keeping.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to coach and support others.
- Phlebotomy
- Cannulation
- Experience of using research databases

You will work as part of a modular team of three who embed within clinical areas to deliver safe, high-quality participant recruitment and help local teams build the skills and confidence to recruit to the BBR independently.
