Role summary
This role involves delivering Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to service users with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) within the community setting. The post holder will work with CMHT caseloads, engaging with wider community systems like A&E and police to support evidence-based practice. SCM is the gold standard for EUPD care, and this opportunity allows for developing specific skills in line with evidence-based treatment. Regular supervision will be provided by Specialist Practitioners.

- Post qualification experience of clinical work and assessment with service users experiencing a range of mental health problems

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Chorley Community Mental Health Team.The successful candidates will work with service users who have a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) who are currently on CMHT caseloads. You will deliver Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to a caseload of service users within the community setting. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion with the team.
SCM is recognised as the gold standard of care for people with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). It is evidenced based and in line with NICE guidelines. SCM has been selected by the trust as the approach to implement within the personality disorder pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop specific skills in line with evidence-based treatment and be involved in providing support for service users to recover, develop autonomy and no longer require secondary mental health services.
