Job summary
This is a very exciting time for the service at Leeds and a great opportunity to join the team. The experience and clinical skills that you will get from working in the SACT daycase unit are vast, ranging from having the clinical skills required to deliver chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatments safely, to caring for the patient who may become acutely unwell as a side effect of their treatment to providing the emotional support our patients need at what can be a very difficult time for them.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills within a supportive environment that values teamwork, professional development, and compassionate care. We provide comprehensive induction and mentorship. As a Band 5 staff nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to daycase patients requiring SACT as part of their treatment pathway.
