This is an exciting opportunity for a Resilience Planning Manager within the North East and North Cumbria System Coordination Centre (SCC). Key responsibilities
- Maintain system situational awareness and coordinate responses to operational pressures across acute, community, mental health, primary care and social care services.
- Monitor system activity, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service quality within a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret data from dashboards to predict upcoming areas of demand and work with system providers to proactively reduce impact on patient flow and improve patient safety.
- Lead surge and incident management as part of the System Coordination Centre's team.
- Work on a rotating roster across a 7-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
Essential criteria
- Diploma in Health Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response or equivalent level experience
- Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working in an EPRR environment including provider organisations
- Have recently completed the Principles of Health Command programme
- Proven leadership experience and significant specialist knowledge in EPRR
- Experience of managing and leading incidents
- Significant experience of managing Business continuity systems
- Experience of organising and delivering large scale training events
- Experience of working in an EPRR multi-agency environment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, conscientious and motivated individual to work as a Resilience Planning Manager within the North East and North Cumbria System Coordination Centre (SCC). This is an interesting and varied role and would suit a highly organised individual with direct experience of working within an urgent or emergency care setting, emergency planning or with previous experience of working in System Coordination Centres.
