Role summary
This role is for a dynamic registered practitioner with advanced clinical skills to join the Intensive Older Persons Community Team. You will provide strong clinical leadership, education, and mentoring, supporting the team with triage, prescribing, assessments, and treatment planning for older people experiencing mental health crises. The role involves working within a 7-day service, aiding risk management and care coordination, with a focus on admission avoidance and home treatment functions.
Essential criteria
- RMN or equivalent professional qualification
- Non-Medical Independent Prescriber
- Degree Level Qualification or equivalent or equivalent level
Desirable criteria
- Study experience at Masters level, study at that level or clinical experience
- Able to demonstrate sound clinical expertise and knowledge of Older Persons mental health disorders and their treatments
- Other
- Ability to travel to all Trust locations if required
- PMA fit
- Flexible attitude
- Extensive experience at which has required supervision and mentorship of others
- Extensive experience of practice within clinical area with proven track record in delivering high quality care.
- Teaching or training experience or qualification
