Role summary
This role supports the medical teams within Salford Community Mental Health Team by providing comprehensive administrative services. Key duties include audio clerical tasks for consultants, liaising with GPs and external agencies, and supporting the Physical Health team. The administrator will also manage and minute meetings and utilise Microsoft packages.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake audio clerical duties for consultants, including minute taking, clinical letters, reports, and discharge correspondence.
- Liaise with General Practitioners regarding clinic and domiciliary visits.
- Liaise with outside agencies such as Social Services, Coroner's office, and other hospitals.
- Support the Physical Health team with administrative duties.
- Facilitate and manage meetings, including minuting and dissemination of minutes.
- Use Microsoft packages for various administrative tasks.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience of working in NHS

Job summary
At GMMH we are investing significantly into our Community Mental Health provision.
To support the Medical PA in providing a comprehensive administrative service to the medical teams within Salford Community Mental Health Team.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
