Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Craven Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The role involves providing leadership, managerial, and supervisory responsibility to a multidisciplinary team of practitioners, including nurses, social workers, OTs, and Psychological Therapists. The successful applicant will assist the clinical manager in developing the service and ensuring quality care delivery within adult community mental health services. The post holder will also work in partnership with various local services and uphold the Trust's values.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership, managerial and supervisory responsibility to a group of multidisciplinary practitioners.
- Oversee assessments and interventions within adult community mental health services.
- Assist the clinical manager in continually developing the service.
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality Community Mental Health Team.
- Work in partnership with GPs, other mental health services, social care, and the voluntary sector.
Essential criteria
- Professionally recognised nurse, Social Services or AHP qualification
- Previous experience of working in a community mental health setting
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified professional in an acute mental health environment
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of further formal management study and/or qualification
- Experience in both health and social care
- At least 1 years management experience in community mental health service
