Role summary
This role involves providing high-quality care to children and young people aged 0-16 years on a Children's Ward. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Registered Children's Nurse, assisting with basic patient care. Responsibilities also include maintaining ward cleanliness according to infection control standards. The position is based at Furness General Hospital.

The services we provide:
Children's Inpatient, Day Care, Assessment and Outpatients
Our Children's Inpatient services provide compassionate care for Children and Young People from 0 to 16 years of age across two busy sites, Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Furness General Hospital. The units provide care for a mixture of specialties and for a wide range of conditions including High Dependency Care.
We are a University teaching hospital full of hard working and dedicated staff providing community and hospital services across the Morecambe Bay area.
Main duties of the job
