Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and motivated Therapy Assistant to join the dynamic and friendly Surgery team. You will support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care across the medical area. Key duties include assisting patients with exercises and mobility, preparing equipment, and helping with safe discharges. - Sound educational background to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C or above in 3 subjects)
- Knowledge and Training
- Knowledge of role of Occupational Therapy and physiotherapy
- Awareness of the value of team working
- Evidence of previous team work
- Understanding and interest in providing rehabilitation to patients
