Role summary
This role is for an ambitious Directorate Support Manager to join the leadership team of Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) in Ely and Wisbech. The manager will provide operational and administrative leadership, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred services and supporting the national CDC programme. The position involves leading service improvement, transformation projects, and pathway development across multiple sites. It's a full-time role requiring travel between sites, with Ely as the main location, and offers an opportunity to develop a senior operational management career within the NHS.
Essential criteria
- Educated to a degree level/ NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience

- Postgraduate qualification relevant to healthcare, management, or service improvement.
- Experience of managing or supervising administrative or operational teams within a healthcare or complex service environment
- Experience of analysing and using performance or activity data to support service delivery and improvements
- Experience of working collaboratively with a range of professional groups, including clinical and non-clinical colleagues
- Experience of contributing to service improvement, change initiatives or redesign projects
- Experience of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a pressured operational environment
