- Previous experience of working in an administrative role
- Experience of team working and with the general public

Job summary

Pre-Operative Assessment is a nurse-led service at the heart of the elective surgical pathway, ensuring patients are appropriately assessed and prepared for surgery. Within this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and pathway coordination support, working closely with nursing, medical, operational and administrative colleagues to ensure patients progress safely and efficiently through their pre-operative journey. You will also provide reception cover where required.
You will be responsible for monitoring patient pathways, coordinating appointments, investigations and outstanding clinical requirements, and ensuring service targets are met.
