Role summary
This role is for a motivated and enthusiastic Secure Services Receptionist at Ravenswood House, an Adult Secure Unit. You will be the first point of contact for service users, staff, and visitors, handling telephone enquiries and ensuring the effective functioning of safety and security systems. The position requires someone who enjoys meeting people, has a pleasant telephone manner, and can work both independently and as part of a small team. Full training will be provided, and the role is part-time, including weekend work.

Job summary
A great opportunity has arisen to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking Secure Services Receptionist to our existing team at our Adult Secure Unit. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, has a pleasant telephone manner, is able to work using their own initiative as well as working within a small team with the ability to cope during busy times. Working within a Secure Unit isn't just a job, it's a career a place where your ideas are listened to and your skills and successes are both valued and recognised.
Working at Ravenswood House, in this role you will be the first point of contact for all service users, staff and visitors to the unit and will be responsible for responding to all telephone enquiries appropriately.
Under the supervision of the Reception Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of a quality customer care service and will provide effective and efficient functioning of the safety and security systems within reception.
You will be expected to portray yourself in a manner which positively reflects the values of Trust and in a way, which will ensure that effective customer care exists with internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience of working within a reception is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
