Role summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our UCAT team where you will be integral to ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
Our UCAT team operates a 24/7 day service and is responsible for providing same day/emergency mental health responses to circa 375,000 population of Fife. You will be a key member of our UCAT team, adopting a pro-active, therapeutic, person-centred approach to care delivery. You will work alongside registered nurses and other members of the wider team in providing care and support to people who experience a range of mental health difficulties which may impact on their wellbeing, safety and day to day functioning. Referrals are received from various sources including Victoria Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED), Primary Care as well as referrals from both internal and external agencies.
