Job summary

We have

an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Diagnostic Radiographer at Nottingham

University Hospitals NHS Trust to join the X-Ray Department at Queen's Medical

Centre (QMC). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic

radiography services across both the Queen's Medical Centre and City Hospital

sites, supporting imaging within the Emergency Department, fracture clinics, GP

and outpatient services, inpatient wards, fluoroscopy, paediatrics, operating

theatres, and mobile radiography. You will play a key role in providing safe,

patient-centred care while participating in a rotational rota that includes

evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call duties to ensure the delivery of a

comprehensive radiology service.

Main duties of the job

As a

Specialist Diagnostic Radiographer, you will be responsible for operating and

positioning radiographic equipment to obtain accurate images in line with

departmental protocols and procedures. You will ensure compliance with IR(ME)R

2017 regulations while undertaking the duties of an IR(ME)R Operator, review

imaging requests against Royal College of Radiologists guidelines, and take

appropriate action where required. You will work collaboratively with
