Role summary

Essential criteria
- NMC registered Midwife
- Completed Preceptorship Programme
- Post Registration Practice and relevant competencies
- 997/8 Mentorship Module or Equivalent
- Diploma or equivalent portfolio of evidence
Desirable criteria
- Degree Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) / Advanced Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO) or equivalent
- LEO Child Protection Course or equivalent
- Good written and spoken English
- Current UK Driving Licence
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues

Job summary
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Midwife to join our Antenatal Clinic team as a Band 6 Antenatal Clinic Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy journey within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
As a Band 6 Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive antenatal care, supporting informed decision-making, promoting maternal wellbeing, and contributing to positive pregnancy outcomes. You will work collaboratively with obstetricians, specialist midwives, sonographers, healthcare support workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, personalised care for women throughout pregnancies.
_This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds, and any role-specific criteria. For example, applicants for the Senior HCA role must be able to evidence a minimum of 2 years' experience in the same role to qualify for sponsorship._
