Role summary
This role seeks an experienced marketing professional to join Public Health Wales and contribute to improving public health in Wales. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and evaluate national social marketing projects, promoting healthy behaviours through effective campaigns. They will work with various internal and external stakeholders, applying social marketing theory and best practice to achieve positive behaviour change.
Essential criteria
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent/equivalent experience) in a marketing, digital communications or related subject
- Experience of undertaking health or wellbeing related marketing with communities, groups or in key settings.
- In depth understanding of marketing planning techniques including insight/strategy/creative development, media planning and evaluation. Good understanding of digital marketing techniques (social media management, email marketing, SEO etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including writing for different individuals/audiences
