Role summary

This is an exciting development opportunity for neonatal nurses with a passion for family integrated care and service improvement. The Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse role will provide opportunities to develop specialised clinical and managerial skills to support babies and their families throughout their neonatal journey. Job summary

Main duties of the job

Demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge, competence and skills to support babies, families and staff within the NICU

Contribute towards developing a culture of learning and innovation, which supports service improvement & education.

Plan and manage competing demands of the job role, using prioritisation and delegation skills, whilst promoting the ethos of 'team-working' to provide a high quality and responsive service.
