Role summary
This Senior Management Accountant role supports the Estates Services within the broader finance team, focusing on financial management and high-quality reporting. Essential criteria

- Experience of working in an accounting environment or large accounting section

- Proficient in use of Microsoft software, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst producing accurate results.
- Ability to adapt to changing and conflicting priorities from more than one manager at anyone time.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to people at all levels within the organisation.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development.
- Experience of working in NHS Finance.
- Use of Oracle ERP System.
- Experience of managing staff.

Job summary
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit into the role of Senior Management Accountant. This is a key role supporting the Estates Services and within the broader finance team and operates within the financial management team supporting the functioning and delivery of high quality financial information and reporting.
This role will be working within the Corporate and Estates Divisional Finance Management Team with the primary aim of preparing monthly management accounts for their designated areas within Estates Services, in addition to engaging with operational team members to discuss budgets, establishments and ongoing developments across the service.
