Job summary
Are you a skilled mechanical engineer looking to make a real difference in a healthcare setting? Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Craftsperson to join our dedicated Estates & Facilities team.
This is a unique mechanical role where you'll have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a hospital setting whilst learning new skills. You'll help ensure that the hospital and healthcare facilities at Musgrove Park remain safe, functional, and compliant. You'll maintain critical estates infrastructure such as boilers, ventilation, and medical gases.
This role offers:
- Recruitment & Retention Payment of £3,500 per annum in addition to annual salary
- On-call allowance of £2 per hour
- Enhanced rates of pay when attending a call-out :
- Before 6:00am and after 8:00pm on weekdays
- All hours during weekends
