Role summary
The Woking Community Nursing team is seeking a Band 5 Community Nurse to visit patients in their homes and care homes across various Woking neighbourhoods. This role offers excellent opportunities for training and development in clinical and leadership skills, supported by experienced Senior District Nurses. The service operates 7 days a week, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with variable shifts including weekends and bank holidays. A comprehensive induction and training package will be provided.
Essential criteria
- 1st Level Nurse Registration (live registered with the NMC).
- Willingness to undertake further education around management of long-term conditions.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.

- Degree or Diploma in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Previous community nursing experience.

Job summary
The Woking Community Nursing team are looking for a Band 5
Community Nurse to join our team across the neighbourhoods of
Central Woking and Sheerwater, North and West Woking, East Woking and South Woking.
The Community Team
visit patients in their own home as well as care homes. We offer excellent
opportunities for training and development of both your clinical and leadership
skills. The team has experienced Senior District Nurses who will ensure that
you have the necessary support for your personal development. The community
nursing service works over a 7-day week 8.00am to 8.00pm offering a variable
shift pattern and includes weekend and bank holiday working.
This post requires an
Adult Nursing qualification.
You will be
supported with a comprehensive induction and training package as needed, to
help you settle in, with the time and opportunity to get to know the people on
your caseload, along with development opportunities.
